Advertising and marketing managers usually receive performance-based bonuses that can be quite substantial. Most advertising and marketing jobs are located in big cities on the coasts. Because this career often requires extensive travel and long work hours, it may not be suited for single moms or working mothers. It is a great career for the married or single woman who is driven, decisive and career-minded.
